Pryor was among the players the team signed after their Rookie Minicamp this past weekend.
The fourth-year quarterback out of Ohio State was drafted in the third-round of the 2011 supplemental draft by the Oakland Raiders. Pryor made 15 appearances for the Raiders, starting 10 games. He has nine career passing touchdowns to go along with 12 interceptions. On the ground, Pryor has rushed for 627 yards and three TDs.
After a trade sent him to Seattle, Pryor spent the 2014 preseason with the Seahawks before the team released him. The Kansas City Chiefs signed Pryor in January and released him this past Tuesday.
Along with Pryor, the Bengals signed undrafted free agent college players safety Erick Dargan of Oregon, defensive tackle Kalafitoni Pole of Washington State, and tight end John Peters out of Cincinnati's Mount St. Joseph's University.
Peters played high school football at Lakota West, then went on to play at Mount St. Joe's and led the team in receiving touchdowns last season.
Bengals Tight ends coach Jonathan Hayes said Peters impressed the coaches with his athleticism this weekend.
"In the minicamp, J.P. (Peters) showed us good athleticism for a big, tall guy," said Jonathan Hayes. "He brings that element of a real potential upside in a certain area that you're looking for in a lower-round draft pick or a college free agent. We think he has a shot to grow into the position. Like all these undrafted guys, he has a long way to go, but he's going to get a chance to show what he can do."
The Bengals also signed their seventh round pick, wide receiver Mario Alford. Alford is the first Bengals draft pick to sign for 2015.
Tight end Kevin Brock was waived by the team this weekend. Brock had five catches for 21 yards last season.
The Cincinnati Bengals are going to take a chance on Terrelle Pryor.
